My illustration for "swarm" shows a swarm of ants taking crumbs away from a cookie. This was inspired by me seeing a bunch of ants carrying crumbs back into their ant hill.
I like that you did this instead of something that flies because that is what is what most people think of that makes it much more original in my opinion.
This is such a cute idea. I really liked how you took swarm and incorporated it into something that can be found in every day life and look more normal than say a swarm of flies or bees, because at some point everyone has seen ants crawling all over food.
Good job! I would like to see this developed further to demonstrate an even greater sense of space and place around the subject! You can do this by getting rid of the white background before you start the word illustration. This will force you to think about layering more media and/or imagery to create a stronger and more visually appealing image.
There are 11 ants and 11 choco. chips if noone else noticed that but i like the comical look but there isnt any background like a plaid picnic blanket like in the cartoons.
